1st PKRA Morocco (14-07-2010)

My website had some technical problems so that's way the update came a little late...

But for the 4^th competition of the year we went to Essaouira (Morocco). Essaouira is known for the gusty and strong wind. And I can tell you they were not lying. In the singles the wind was good for a 9m and I made it to the finals. In the finals I had to take it up against Youri again and I had a good heat so I won the singles.

There was also a wave comp and I was competing in that as well. It was a bummer the waves were really small but what can you do about it. I made it all the way to the losers final where I met Youri again! It was great riding against him in the wave and the freestyle. He was a little stronger in the waves so I ended up 4^th.

The night before the doubles I got a bit sick because I eat something wrong... I didn't have much energy but I still managed to keep my 1^st place!! This is my 2^nd 1^st place of the year and lets hope I can make that a few more.

The next comp will start this weekend in Germany it's the biggest en best organized event of the year. Let's hope I can do well. I'll keep you updated!
