1st PKRA THAILAND (21-03-2010)
After getting disappointing 4th place in the singles I knew it was a long way to the first place but it was possible. I knew what I was going wrong in the singles and for the doubles I had a different strategy but we needed some wind. There was no wind for a few days but after wind dance nr 195 the wind finally came back and we could finish the doubles.
In my first heat I was up against Alberto Rondina the wind was really light and just enough to go on my 14m. I won. Next up was Youri I lost against him in the singles and in the doubles I didn't want that to happen again so I pulled all my tricks out of the bag and that was enough to go true to the next heat. For the 2nd place I had to go up against Yates I also lost against him in the singles... I was on a roll and I also won that heat.
Next up was Alex he won the singles so I had to beat him twice to win the event. I was getting pretty tiered because this was already the 4th heat in a row. I still did all my tricks and won the first one. The 5th and final heat I did of the day would decide how would win the event. I wanted to win really badly and I just gave everything!! And it all worked out I won the first stop of the PKRA!
I will be in SA for 10 day to train for France witch is going to start on the 10th of April. Ill keep you updated.
